Are you as attached to your phone as me? I swear I feel like I have lost an arm if I go out without it or the battery dies! Why can’t we have the phones of today with the batteries of the old Nokias? Today I want to share with you some fun games I have been playing on my phone lately that are also available on your PC. Ideal if you can sneak in a game at work or perhaps like me, work for yourself!

What sort of games do I play?

I used to play games on my phone a lot more than I do nowadays. I just don’t often make time anymore but once I find something I love I am addicted! If only I could become addicted to salad and eat healthier?! Generally I like word games or games that test my brain a little. That said I do love those hidden object games. You know the ones with a scene and random things hidden in it like a screwdriver but you have to hunt and hunt to find it?

I also quite like the old game Minesweeper. Can you remember the one that used to be on all computers and just was so addictive, especially while you were waiting for dial-up internet to stop making that horrible noise and actually load something!

Games from Solitaire.org

I have recently started playing the games from Solitaire.org, whilst I have tried them on my phone I prefer them either using my phone stylus or on the computer. This is simply because on the hidden objects game, with fat fingers, it is easy to accidentally click the wrong area by a little bit and get a time add-on!

With hidden object games on solitaire.com it is easy to mute the sound and the music on your phone which is perfect if you are playing when you can’t fall asleep. This is especially key if you are lying next to a sleeping partner who will not appreciate being awoken to you finding that hidden ribbon!

As I said another of my favourites is the Minesweeper game which is within the logic puzzle games. I am sure I used to be much better at the game when I played it years ago! With practice though I am quickly improving and I am sure soon I will be a ninja at it!

If not I might try and perfect my monogram skills. I saw those games on the website and had totally forgotten those even existed! Do you know the ones I mean where you have to colour a pattern of squares and use logic to see which ones to colour and which not to etc? I am absolutely rubbish at them so didn’t include a screenshot as I am sure you would be giggling at me and my mostly empty screen, but I am getting there so watch this space!
